Depending on how it's structured, I'm hoping for best case scenario. Personnel stay the same, Petco has improvement on aquatic livestock and items, better care utilizing the same knowledgeable employees that DSF have been using, but make stuff more accessible and readily available.
I don't see the DFS model adapting well to the retail enviroment, maybe an implementation of a ship to store option for pickup and arrive alive guarantees, etc. But I am not sure I would want anything that I would order spending any time in any an Petco tank I have see in recent years.
But then again, you never know... maybe we will get divers den pieces showing up at stores at 6pm every night.. lol
It might have been a sTart move on dr foster and the LA site. With all the new laws coming and restriction of protecting the reef might see the hobby unfortunately starting to go down hill. I read some where down south that your going to need licenses to aquaculture any coral or fish along with records of where everything came from. They might see something coming.
