The first time, the coral came right out and I could treat it.
The next time, it had to be broken off. During treatment I saw the eggs, and after a few minutes quickly knew there was no way I could assure myself that every last one was removed/scraped away. So I cut off the healthy tip, tossed the middle, and saved the base that was relatively encrusted.
