I must have drilled 50-60 holes for pegging in the past 2 days. Each piece of the new Marco rocks has about 10-15 holes on top and in the sides. Plus I've been mounting old frags and cleaning up and remounting the QT survivors. I still plan on pulling 4 large rocks out of the main to drill. I hope to have this phase complete by this weekend; it will make it a ton easier to pull the acros and dip and clean them.

it's just one of the frog ones that has an alarm when it detects water. i'm thinkig about investing into one that calls you

I finally got back to finish the electrical panel on the right side of the tank

here is the back of the fan panel

I'm glad I got that project completed - it was way overdue :)

somebodys been busy! everything is looking great pete, you've done a wonderfull job.

just curious, you said that if one of your TLF reactors fell off the tubing, that its no big deal because thier over the sump. are they sitting on something, mounted to somethnig, or just hanging mid air from the tubing?

also, that awsome leak detector is under $100.oo bucks and you have a leakfrog???

The TLF reactors are standing on top of eggcrate over the sump

Here's the leakfrog, he puts out a load siren if a leak is detected. I have a second one that will go on my Ca & Kalc reactor table when I get it built (next project)

well i guess he makes a good friend to keep you company while your down there working on something? just be carefull not to spill water on him or else he might yell at you!

I got the Chauvet light controller last night and tried it out today. Works great for an alternating wave-maker controller for under $30. It has

Fast/Slow/Audio mode switch:
--- fast 1 sec to 60 seconds
--- slow 1 min to 15 minutes
--- audio = sound activated (not going to use but may play with it)

speed dial
--- to adjust the alternating timing

2 or 4 channel switch
--- in 2 channel mode you have 2 outlets on at a time
--- in 4 channel mode you have 1 outlet on at a time
(outlets are on the sides of the unit)

So, What other DJ equipment can we use on our tanks? :) That sounds like a good little piece of kit. Much cheaper than an actual wavemaker.

I picked up my power panels from the same place. There are all kinds of power panels and controllers listed, it made my head spin looking at the stuff thinking; "now how can I use that on my reef". Here's the link

Pete, Where did you get your leakfrog from? I want one of those! :D

I bought the pair at Woot.com a while back so I don't know if they still have them or not. Marc posted another link to another supplier a few posts back (maybe on the previous page)

I notice you are not using the chauvet power centers. I was wanting to use them (they look way cool) but somebody (think it was DonW) told me they are not very heavy duty and steered me to the AmericanDJ one instead.

your powercenters look exactly like the American DJ ones (with much wider switches etc), but I've never heard of it before.

Just curious if you also avoided the chauvet power centers for similar reasons or if you just ended up with a different product due to no particular reason...
