Pete, just call my vet. She'll take care of your need. Great pictures buddy. I don't know why you want me over there with my camera.

if this next deal doesn't go through I'll do that. Thanks on the complement but my camera just doesn't zoom close enough to get details unless the subject is within a few inches of the camera. I'd really like to get some macro shots of all my corals. No hurry so maybe next time your in the area.

The green one is a Psammacora, Pete.

thanks - i have it down someplace but didn't want to dig around for it when I did the slideshow (same with a couple others) - I'll update it here in a sec

When I posted that slide show yesterday, I couldn't help but notice that the Acropora Abrolhosensis finally looked like it was getting some color. From the display side of the tank it just looks like a brown fuzzy stick but when I was working on the picture I noticed some blue. So today I decided to take a couple close ups. At first it still looked kind of brownish but was showing some color

as shown here

so I gave it a gentle blast of water and low and behold a nice lavender base with turquois blue polyp tips

looks almost like a mille

I'll have to find a nice spot for it now :)

After the MH's shut down I took a couple actinic only shots

and talk about sick - how about these colors - I actually toned down the intensity some by reducing the saturation
