Petmart question... does the store suck?

Thanks. Yeah Orlando is great for livestock(especially SITC, sea in the city). They will be expanding and tripling their store size over the next month, so be ready for some significant upgrades from the shortly:).
 
FYI...it's amazing that the Tang that I spoke of earlier has taken a powder. Only "healthy" lookin' fish today!!! Give it a day and we'll see if they keep their act together.

Where is SITC in Orlando? I don't know my way around there quite the way I do Tampa, but I'm always willing to explore.

Talking about Petmart again I havent bee in the one in tampa but the Bay Pines store in St. Pete is ok.

The people is really helpful and the fish and corals are pretty healthy. I made my fresh water and salt water aquariums with products of that store and my fish and corals are still alive (I even have babies from my cichlids)

Love their water supply and products .. but I would love more variety.

I bought some corals last weekend and I got 40% off of the total so I dont know if the tampa store missunderstood the sale.
 
do all petmart customers follow the same grammar rules and speak a different dialect ?

or is people uses more then two account and anything ?
 
I'm really not familiar with the Petmart stores, but in a lot of chains (small and large) you have the Company stores and franchised stores. Sometimes the franchised stores do not have the same sales or they change them to help their profits. Not that this is what happened but it would be interesting to see the advertisement flyer.
Lisaandmikefamil - it would be interesting to compare these flyers. forty percent on the complete purchase or forty percent on the equipment only is a very big difference. I have to go by the Bay Pines store tomorrow so I'll stop by and see if I can get one of their flyers. I scan it in and then post it so you can compare. I've never been in either store so it will be interesting for me to see this store.

That will help you in your quest, wardworld. If you are not specifically looking for the store, you will most definitely miss it. It is small(in the process of trippling the size) and off the main road, but as with most treasures, it is hidden. It is located on Lake Underhill between Conway and Semoran(SR 436).

439-d Gaston Foster is the address, I believe, but it will be changing soon as she is moving one building over pretty soon.
 
I am up here in Wesley Chapel unfourtnately there is no LFSs up this direction. I will give Pet Mart a try prehaps this evening. I hear there is a new store opening up on Livingston and Bearss soon that would be great.
 
hmm is it just me or do you think /\/\/\/\/\ will have a good experiance from pet mart.... Theres more comming out of the woodwork again :D
 
I have to withdraw my previous post about petmart. When i was last there i notice atleast a half dozen dead fish, the large hippo tang with the messed up face, and how underfed all the fish were. I didnt realize how thin my tang that came from petmart was till seeing robthorns in person. I think i may be using my last bit of store credit on food and calling it quits with them.
 
Let's not make a hasty generalization with mrniceguy, i remember when i first posted it was about petmart and i didnt turn out to be such a bad guy, now did i? :P Yeah, to the unexperienced hobbiest, petmart may seem like the best thing since sliced bread, but it's until you see a good quality store, is when you finally have your eyes opened. but im looking forward to checking out this new store on bears and livingston since thats right where i live.
 
Ehh I never said a name. That was a statment about not just one person. You can see that "someone" quickly gathered up a screen name and never filled out anything else and just so happend to chime in on this subject, I think we might have seen this done with others who are now BANNED from RC. Just an opinion in a way, thats all.

Just out of couriosity is the "new" store a Pet Mart store or a totally different store name??
 
I wouldnt think Petmart would open another store so close, if they did that would be such a stupid mistake. But i see what you mean Pmike, i just thought you were referring to him since you put the ^^^^^^^
 
I actually noticed that myself!!!!! I agree with you about the too close thing, thats why I asked cause I thougt that would be inetersting, anywho does anyone know of what store it might be, like is it an existing store moving into there or something brandy new!!
 
mrniceguy there is a pet store up here. Try PetCity by Publix on Collier. The prices on a little on the high side especially on dry goods but, at least it's close and the livestock looked pretty healthy and they had a good selection last time I was there.
 
is that the publix thats by the bank of america, amsouth, and tire plus?

Wow, i really hope thats the store Life Oceanic was talking about.
