PFO No Longer Dealing With Halides..?

Some have been saying that PFO is no longer dealing in halide lighting, and is no longer making halide lighting components and fixtures, including their made to order fixtures combining SE halides and VHO actinics, as well as the HQI ballasts...?

Yet, the PFO made to order page is still up on your site...?

Is this true?!

Hi Todd,

Thanks for the inquiry. You are correct, PFO is reducing their MH production and focusing on their LED lines. We've already discontinued several items including MH, PC and VHO products. They still have a few of these fixtures left and that's why they're on the site.

For those of you with PFO fixtures and ballasts, the warranty will still be covered by PFO so there will not be a gap in service for them with those.

WOW!! this is crazy! I've used PFO with absolutely no problems for years! I'm sad to see them go off the MH market. Any recommendations on whom to go with now?

Hi,

Thanks for your post, we carry the Ice Cap ballasts they are very dependable and energy efficient, you can also look in to the Lumatek Metal Halide Digital Ballasts These are pretty new for us but have been extremely popular with the reef hobbyists.
