PFO parallel reflector

I have a question about the 24" reflector. Does the halide bulb get centered in the fixture somehow? Or does it stay mounted on one side? Also I know the little wings are predrilled for VHO sockets but, if I plan to put icecap t-5 standoffs in there will the holes match up or will I have problems doing this?

The halide will be centered up when the bulb is in socket, so no problems there. If you are wanting to run T5's though you would need to predrill your own holes for it, as the t5 lamps are just a little shorter than the vho's.

OK, the lamp cord. Can it just be cut (the molex) and a wired to a normal m58 ballast?

It sure can. The leads coming off of a bare ballast will be the exact same that the lamp cord would have on this.
