ph drop?

quick question,how fast does your ph drop if you still have signs of acid in your rock?did a acid soak and finish a week ago and been re-cycling the rock for 3 days.tested ph its 7.44 now and 8.23 3 days ago at the start of cycle.
SG is 1.024 and havent tested anything else.

Try measuring the alkalinity. If it is OK, then residual acid is not the concern, but rather CO2.

what KH range should i be,,7-9?i thought it might be co2 because the trash can is in the garage and its been windy here

I don't think the alkalinity is especially important during curing, and 7-12 dKH is likely fine.
