PH growth rate

I started with 3 PH about 2.5 months ago. Just had 2 new polyps open up for a total of 8. I have them right under MH 14k.
Any tips on getting them to grow a little faster? Maybe frag them in half? Kind of afraid to do this considering the cost and maybe loosing them.
Not really a big deal but I think they would look much better if there were lots of polyps crowded together.
What lighting makes them look best? I have tried Phoenix 14k and Reefoptics 14k but neither makes them pop like I see many others pics of them. It is getting time to replace the Phoenix and the Reef Optics I don't like so I thought maybe a 20K?
But that would slow growth down more so wouldn't it.
And the red slime is going away. Had an outbreak couple weeks ago but it is clearing so don't think it has to do with the growth.

here is a pic I just took. you can see the algae has cleared already and it just started 2-3weeks ago so I am sure it does not have to do with the slow growth.

The Mohawks I got about the same time. There were 10 polyps and now there are about 40. Anyone else's PH slow growers too? I think my PPEs are growing just as fast, not quite but close.
Is the slow growth why they cost so much?
The ones on the lower left, not sure what they are I got from a local reef shop about a month ago. 5 polyps are now 15 so I don't think I am doing anything wrong.

Yes, ph are slow growers, Notice the hefty price tag on them, do you honestly think ppl would still be getting 100 pp if they were growing 10 polyps a month?

i get 1-2 polyps a month. there at the bottom of a 24 inch deep tank under a 250watt 20k with 4 54watt t5's.

do you honestly think ppl would still be getting 100 pp if they were growing 10 polyps a month This was happening with Purple Deaths and nuclear greens a long time ago. Didn't stop people from paying over $50 PP for a protopalythoa that grew faster when fed more.

Same thing pretains to some of these higher priced polyps that grow pretty fast especially the ones that feed readily.

But $100 per polyp is ridiculous. If I was selling, which I am not so please do not ask (not directed to you 650-IS350 but to anyone) they certainly wouldn't be near that.
It is crazy that pple take advantage of another's passion. These did not sell for near that price when they first made their appearance. Hype and a certain sale on ebay to someone that wanted to spend that much, whether it was a legit sale or not, made the price per polyp skyrocket.

They did sell on ebay for $360 a polyp I believe and wasn't surprised to see a 4-5 polyp frag for asking price of $1000:lol:
look at the captain america's how much was that going for... I know it's a broken record but that's how this hobby has become.

Yea, I saw that one where they were going for $1000. Don't think there was ever a buyer thank goodness. Crazy. What happened to the good ol' days when we were all friends, thought all zoanthids/corals were sweet...INTERNET and GREED!

lol i knew the kid that was trying to get 1000 bucks for it on ebay. i told him it was ridiculous and it would never happen. were no longer friends because of a huge argument it started because i told him he was greedy. i'm sick of people just trying to make money in this hobby.

Its not just this hobby.Let me guess everyone should give corals away?
