pH probe broken?

I have a pH probe that consistently reads 3.0 for a ph I have calibrated it 4 times with different calibration solutions and its still not working.

This probe is less then a year old. Any ideas? Is it garbage?

It was purchased in later fall 2010 and hasn't been working for about 3 months now.

yes likely, probes are degenerative in nature. the life in some cases can be as low as 6 months, but with GHL probes although the warranty does not stretch this far, you should get a year + out of one.
