Nevermind...called Salty..they have a couple...was just trying not to drive out there this weekend...

I have no will power...I will drive out for an $8 item and leave with $300 worth of stuff...ughh... :D

well if you're not in too much of a hurry, they can ship it to you - from salty's website:

To our customers in Ohio, and parts of Pennsylvania, Illinois, Indiana, and Michigan -
Gas prices affecting your aquarium budget?? If so, remember we can ship dry goods and livestock to your door via UPS ground. Most items ship the same day they are ordered and delivery time is one day. Also, for Ohio residents, to offset your shipping costs we pay your sales tax. (only applies to orders shipped)

cmador...yeah..that is what I normally do...infact there is a package from them at my doorstep...but I forgot about the probe holder...

BUT...I want to have this this weekend...as my milling machine is mad at me...since I got back into this hobby 6 or 7 months ago...I haven't even used it once...the Ca Reactor I picked up doesn't have a PH probe port on it...so I am going to put my own into the lid...and make my milling machine happy again...now...the lathe is probably going to be up in arms over the milling machine being used... LOL! :D

Hi,

Shoot me the diameter of the cable and thickness of the material to mount it on. I might be able to find you something. It looks like a std. PG-16 gland & I know where to get plenty of those in Stow, Ohio.

Dave

Ph probe...believe is standard 1/2" diameter PH probe from my AC3...the top of the reactor is about 5/8" thick...but I will drill and tap the lid so depth isn't really a problem...

Should be a standard PG-16...should seal PH Probes from 0.394" to 0.551"

Are you planning on being up around Strongsville on Saturday? As I appreciate the offer but I would hate to put you out...and Stow is about the same distance from Strongsville as Salty! although...picking up from you would save me the other $295 spent trying to get out of Salty! LOL!

They also sell them on the GEO website for $8. >>> LINK <<<

But that would also require a day or two of patience and we already know your position on that virtue. :D

They also have one that goes, "The truth hurts doesn't it?"

OUCH! You got me there.

I want an Oompa Loompa and I want it now daddy.

Go to Home Depot go to the aisle where they stock the plastic and brass fittings for ice makers and such. They sell a fitting that accepts 1/2" tubing. I'm using one on my reactor. No leaks and its easy to remove the probe anytime you want, no tools needed.

Thanks, Cove...funny...I think I was looking at them at my local TrueValue hardware store tonight...but my mind was stuck on wanting 1/4" size to make an adapter for the MJ900 feed pump...and all they had was 1/2" never even gave it a thought that I could use it with the PH probe!

duh....guess I will go back tomorrow morning and check them out again...I live in the sticks so we roll up the carpet at 5pm around here!
