So I read an interesting thread on the use of a Phosban reactor in a system and wanted MARS opinion on its use.
I will be setting up a 120 that I plan to stock heavily. Lots of fish with a mixed reef. Probably won't get near SPS for a while, but I really like Zoas and LPS.
Questions:
1. Do you use a Phosban style reactor?
If so:
2. What size system do you have and what is your bioload?
3. How much media do you use and how often do you change it?
If you don't use GFO:
4. Why not? Do you feel GFO isn't needed for any setup or just not for yours?
Thanks. It would probably be easier if I just asked if I should use a Phosban reactor for my setup. If so, how soon should I add it to the system?
Another question: Has there been a GFO group buy recently? Where can I get it for cheap (if I decide to use a reactor)?
