Hello,
I have read a bit about the need to test phosphates in the tank. I have seen several brands of tests.
I've also seen recommended the Hanna Instruments phosphate meters. These come in low-range (0 - 2.5) and high-range (0-30) models. Do these offer much more accuracy than chemical tests?
When testing for phosphates, do I need to test both the high range and low range?
Can anyone recommend this meter (or another instrument)? Is an instrument overkill for a beginner? Or would it be sufficient to just test with the chemical tests, and if so, is there a certain brand that has more reliable tests?
Thanks!
