photo post help

Greetings, I need a little help please.

I am trying to learn how to post photos here on the board. I went to my gallery(as directed) to put the photos of my unknow member of phylum molluska up for a little help identifying but every version of the file I have tried is way over the limit size.

I have a rebel and can shoot from raw to small but still no luck. The smallest I can come up with is 942 kb (slightly larger than the 50 provided)

I am not complaing just don't know how to scale down

can anyone who is familiar with the process help me out. Please note that I don't have experience posting photos on the internet
also due to being on a school computer I only loaded by canon solutions software and am using whatever photo handler Windows comes with.

If you go to www.imageshack.us you can upload your full-sized image and then use the code they supply you with to post a thumbnail that is a link. It allows the reefcentral pages to load fast and also allows others interested in seeing the full-sized image the option to do so.

Here is an example of what I mean. (My old 29g with 20L fuge)

If you sign up for an account there (free accounts) you can go to your gallery and have access to all the pics you upload and they still have no limits at all. It is a freat free service in my opinion.

HERE'S A LINK to the image posting tutorial I made for our C-SEA.org forums. It shows screenshots using imageshack.us.
