phyto culture air bubbles

By any chance does anyone know why there would be a build up of little bubbles on my two liter bottle.. Im areating the phyto with a cut tub no air stone.. I would really appreciate the help, i know that those air bubbles can cause a crash

Sounds like some sort of protein buildup or something. I get it occasionally. I'm not really sure why. If you are concerned,you could siphon out the phyto and leave the last inch or so in the bottle. Basically just take the "good" phyto.

IMO, the bubbles don't cause a crash, they indicate it. I hate to disagree, but I don't think that there is any way of siphoning out the "bad" phyto and leaving the good.

If your talking about foaming at the surface, than I agree with CJ about it indicating an impending crash. If it's dense enough to be usable, just use it up quickly and get a new culture started if you don't already have one going.
