Hi,
I'm looking into culturing my own Phytoplankton and was wondering if there are any guidelines with respect to how much to feed.
I realize that the density of the culture may vary, but IN GENERAL - how much and how often would one feed the main tank, or at least what amount would be a good starting point?
So assuming I will have some dark green bottles of Phyto, and I'm feeding a 220 gallon display tank in a system which is about 400 gallons including sump, refugium, skimmers, etc., how much (cups? ounces?) should I start feeding and how often.
Lastly, what should I be on the lookout for with respect to the benefits and especially any potential problems?
Thanks.
