Phytoplankton?

I never feed my corals. Long time ago I had my first nano 10g and used to put DTs phyto in a few times each week. The growth was great, but it's hard to compare tanks. Should I consider this again? I also have NEVER spot fed anything. Time to step up my game? Or just let them live on sunshine and fish waste?

Feeding of live,'frozen or preserved Phytoplankton is really only beneficial for a few specialized situations. Fish and stony corals don't really utilize it directly. Feather dusters, coco worms, some cucumbers and stuff like that eats it. Some add it to boost the bottom of the food web by providing a food source for Copepods, often hoping to keep a Mandarin Dragonette or similar fish.

I wouldn't use it unless you have a specific reason to do so.

The goal would to generally improve color and growth. Start with getting my Calcium down I guess. I seem to run at 480
