This guy has been in QT for 8 weeks or so and the dark spots have gotten progressive worse. He acts normal and eats like crazy. Tried a couple different medicines (Prazi Pro, Metro), but no luck. I am afraid I might have to euthanize him if I cant figure this out.

Maybe try a broad-spectrum antibiotic like kanamycin or nitrofurazone (or both - these two meds can be combined safely)? Not sure what the spots are either, but they could be bacterial. Euthanasia seems a bit extreme given the fish is otherwise eating and behaving normally.

I agree.

If it is just optical and doesn't seem to bother the fish I would right now rather concentrate on getting his weight up - he's quite skinny. With improving health the spots may just go away on their own.

If Turbellarian disease ... Freshwater baths or if scared of that practice half - half baths 20-30 sec every day. + food with garlic.
If looks more like holes and you have a veterinarian who can prescribe you ampicillin sometimes works with mycobacterium marinum ( tuberculosis)
