Sounds good and all... but mathematically its a bad deal.
My average picture size is 135KB. 300 Pictures is only around 40MB of space.
That means for my average picture size (what I usually put in a Gallery), I could store about 7500 pictures on Picasa Web Albums.
Errr... did I calculate that right? Thats about 7.5 pictures per 1MB.. times 1000.... =7500.... yep thats right.
Picasa Web wins.

No, mathematically it's a good deal. I should have mentioned you can have unlimited albums as well. It's just each is limited to 300 images.
They're actually both great deals since they're free. I just didn't like Picasa last time I tried it and Yahoo's drag and drop program was all I needed.
Just trying to add info and options to the thread. BTW, you had some great pictures turn out.

The problem I had with some of the online picture sites I used before is that they let you upload your original sizes (in case you want to pay to have them printed) but then wouldn't let you, or other people you might send a link to, view the original size. Which of course meant that when you try to link pictures onto this sight, they come out real little. I started using flickr because it was the first program I found that let you view and link full-size images. Of course, flickr's free stuff doesn't give you enough "space" so I decided to pay. If there are other cheaper (i.e., free) options out there that let you do this, maybe I need to check them out.

Here's my problem with google webalbums:
I haven't found a good way to post pics onto forums such as these. I usually put my pics online on google, then transfer them to photobucket to add pictures to threads.
Other than that, I love my gmail/picasaweb stuff.

Subliminal, while viewing your picture in the web album you have to click "Link to this Photo" on the right side of the page. From there you can parse out the information you need to do the link.
Here is an example:
In the URL there is a ../sXXX/... section. The XXX is modifiable only to 144, 288, 400, or 800. This will dictate the size of the image being displayed.
The above picture's IMG tag is:
"http://lh6.google.com/image/rsteagall/Rfid5XW09eI/AAAAAAAAAfA/X25PpIAtK6w/s800/IMG_5085.JPG"
