Picasso Progression

Lovely looking clowns you've got there. I have a baby that looks a lot (colour wise) like your Nov shots, i hope he fills out as much as yours have.

Your picasso's are looking great, and nice transition shots.
Looks like you changed out tank and nem.

Thanks Dave. Yes! I did change out the tank & the Nem. Took them out of my Solana & put them in my DT 150 with the Rose Nem. They started breeding about 3 months ago!! That purple LTA would never stop moving! :hmm2:

That looks awesome!
Keep close attention to your clowns now that they are in a BTA, as in watch to see if there are any changes in color, mainly the black.
I had read other comments from people that theirs lost black color, and didn't really believe that could happen until I went all BTA/nem specific, and I watched the black almost completely fade from my picasso's.
I pulled the BTA's and the black came right back.
Hopefully you don't experience this, but just be aware it is a possibility.
I have this pretty well documented in pics, in fact I think I had a thread on here showing the transition.

Thanks Dave. I do remember that thread you had documenting that. Very interesting to say the least, it would really be a bummer if that happened. My clowns have been in this BTA now for well over a year & haven't seem any change. I was worried when I first put them in hoping it wouldn't happen. Lucky I guess.

I'm glad for you.
I'm not sure why this happens sometimes, I saw some other threads that also showed the loss in black color from this combo of clown/nem.
Maybe it has to do w/ young clowns gaining color/maturing, I'm not sure.
Mine began the transition of losing black color fairly quick after the intro of BTA's, so I'm sure you would have noticed it by now.
After pulling my BTA's the color came right back, even w/out a nem at all, so I'm sure it was directly related to the BTA's.
I first saw this posted by Toddrtrex, a very experienced nem keeper, and then a few others posted same results.
Hopefully yours continue as they are, it all looks really nice as it is.
