picasso rbta video

Nice vid and nice looking tank!
I personally would be nervous w/ that many BTA's around that much sps.
How long have your clowns been in there w/ the BTA's?
Have you noticed any affect on the black color of your clowns?

Thanks :)

The picassos are fairly new, they have been hosting the anemone for 4 days now. Hopefully they retain the black but if not no big deal. Will update if they lose color a few months from now. I read your thread about your picassos losing their black from hosting btas. How long did it take for you to notice a loss of color? Did you notice any color loss in any other host anemone species?

The anemones have been with the sps for around 6 months and are behaving for now. Lucky for me they have pretty much stayed on the rock island I built for them.

Cool, hope it stays that way for you, it does look nice.
I was skeptical on the color loss claims, so I didn't pay much attention, but at about a month it was obvious they were losing black.
Right now they are in a mag, natural host, we'll see what happens, but like you I'm not too concerned about it.

I have read many accounts of percs losing black in btas, but on the other hand I have seen some of the blackest percs hosting in btas. Seems like its hit or miss. Your picassos are pretty nice, do you have any updated shots of them?

Here are some pics I just took of the pair
