picked up my first LPS

started up my first tank last month and i just started adding corals. today i picked up 2 small head of hammer! they're very nice and opening up. i tried to get it out of any high flow. tonight im picking up 12+ heads of aussie acan! btw im using a par38 for lighting. pics to come tomorrow when everyone is looking happy

thanks guys. i really like the acan, its starting to show some greens under my LEDs and looks awesome.

steph, you think its frogspawn and not a hammer? either way it seems happy. i experimented with a MP10 on the tank and the frog/hammer retracted quite a bit. i took it off the tank and started to look happier immediately. i can't really report any further b/c i only put in a half day in the office

Oh, you're right. It does look more like a hammer. I didn't focus on it hard enough ( and totally didn't see where you said it was hammer lol )
Euphyllias don't like a lot of flow. They like their tentacles to be lightly tousled, but not anything direct or heavy.
My Frog splits heads every month. So, with three main branches, it went from 6 heads to 9 heads this month. My tank doesn't have ideal situations, but you know what to look forward to!
