I want to show off my tank a little. And want to thank the MTRC club for all there good advice and help.

Tank Info:
75 Gal
Setup for SPS in December 2006 (TANK WAS PRECYCLED)
I went to the MTRC Frag Swap and bought 7 Acropora Frags. Every one there said I would need a light upgrade so I decided to go with T5's. I'm glad I did but want the glidder lines.

I have 8 t5 bulbs running a pretty cool temperature pattern.
Its pretty blue but show great colors in the corals.

Just added a new recirc skimmer from Coralview Octopus DNW-200.

If anyone has comments please let me know.

Wow, it's all looking great! Is that a favia there in the middle? Your water looks crystal clear. Great job. What do you do for your husbandry habits? Do you dose the tank with anything? How often are you doing water changes? How do you like that skimmer so far?

Looking good. I got a big boost in my coral population from the last two swaps... I love them and I'm glad to see that others are getting nice stuff and doing well with them.

Keep the pics coming. I love to see tanks growing in. Looking back at my own old pictures always gives me a kick.

WOW Your corals are great colors! Agreed The tank looks cristal clear. How do you like the skimmer? You got in the hobby at just the right time getting to hit the swap!

Hey, there. Great pics of a nice tank. Good to know there's another reefer in Hermitage. If you want to swap some frags some time, give me a shout. I'm getting back into the hobby after a year plus hiatus, and my prop tank is back up and running for 4 mos. or so. I've been feverishly working on stocking it. The main reef is coming along as well.

Thanks for the nice comments,
I think this skimmer is great it is pulling out a ton of gunk out of the tank.
As for husbandry I try to run a regular weekly routine:
1st of all i calculated the total amount of system water and it totaled to 100 gallons. Next I wanted a target of 40% of that water to be changed each month and then devid that number by 4 for weekly water changes. So the minimum I replace is at least 10 gallons each week. I Filter the water using a RO/DI system from Kent using a HI-S model. I replace the cartridges regularly and test the output with a digital GH meter. the reading is usually around 13. Next I airate the water over night and the next day I start adding salt and Calcium and Sodium Bicarbonate for PH/DKH.
I dose the tank daily with baked Sodium Bicarbinate and Calcium using toms dosing pumps. They are controllered by a X10 timer. I also made a Nelson Calc Reactor and replace the majority of the water with it. I control the PH with a Millwauki PH controller that I had to rewire to turn on when the PH drops to the desired setpoint. I feed almost daily using a variety of foods like cyclop eez and brine shrimp.

Looks good man! I hope your new corals and gear work out great for you. Sorry I was so busy when you stopped by....
