led's do wonders for the colors of zoas. Even my eagle eyes get noticed when people stop over.

Its a 20L --- Budget build....

The light is almost exactly $100.

-24 cree(10k White/Royal Blue) xre's for $50 on craigslist?
-Heatsink (included with the Cree lamps from craigslist!)
-Dimmable 30W LED drivers ( $36 dollars off amazon.com!)
-1/4" Acryillic -- ($7 with an employee discount at Acehardware)
-Other ($10 superglue, wire, ect)


Ended up wiring 18 LEDS running at 4V .83A (3.3W each *18 = 60Watts total?) The Royal Blue and white LEDS are run off two separate and dimmable power supplies so the blue and white LEDS can be adjusted to change the overall color temperature.


Total: $104ish. What a deal: :hammer:
