Pics of 250's most unusual/rare SPS

Wow I really like that coralite structure it reminds me of a "deepwater" coral. Definatly one of the favorite ones I've seen. FWIW I believe the monti might be an undata or danae possibly. I have never seen an orange and green one like yours. Is it orange under sunlight?

Thank you for sharing!

Hey Paul. Ya this is the first time I have really gotten the camera on this coral, I have owned this coral for 3 years+ and never gotten a good pic until today.

Have sold SPS frags to two people in about the last year....no new stuff to sell as my display is full!!! The corals have really grown out nice.

Hi Dave, nice to see you here again.
Btw: Are you going to update your website any time soon? I would like to see what's new.

Actually I am ready to sell a frag or two - however being in Canada I can not sell or trade with thouse outside Canada.

put me on the list for a frag if u decide to frag...that thing is sweet...

Thanks! Honestly one coral I will say is rare (hate that word). I have see others somewhat similar in structure but never the same color. I have the subglabra(sp) in purple with blue tips, and a tan one with blue tips.....which I got a the LPS. Never one this colour though.

holy macro ..(shot)..

nice looking coral .wow..

Thanks. That monti is gettin' kinda sweet. Not sure the species, but unusual in coloration and texture. I saw the mother colony at the LFS and it also plates. Kinda a pinkish orange in my system.

Only in Canada...and not for a while, still finishing my basement reno where the tank sits. I should update my other thread one of these days.

Do you sell frags of that? I would love a frag of that!

Thanks. I am in Oakville, about 5 minutes from ORG. Not selling or having people over at this time, but in another month or so I hope to be in a position to start having people over again. Cheers. Dave

Most certainly one of the more interesting colours in recent memory.

Where is your other thread? I'd love to take a look at the progression over the past few months.

Thanks - I have many of them for a long long time now. Have a couple new ones that are pretty nice I gotta get the camera on one day, a nice blue stag/hoek from australia comes to mind.

Very nice corals !!

Is an odd piece - pleased to say it has grown to the size where I actually need to frag it...like this one so much I have a back-up colony.

That is rediculous looking!

Thanks, I rather like it to. Makes me recall a time I was dating a girl who had never seen or heard of the show before...man I miss the 90's.

Your avatar is awesome

Do you know who the original importer of this coral was? It looks very similar to the red dragon piece that made it's way to the states via jay and jensen of reefraft. I think they called it the unknown fuchsia before citr renamed it. It sure is pretty, do you still have it? What type of flow do you have it in? You have some jaw dropping pics and pieces, very fun to look at. Thanks
