Hello everyone,

Got home early today and decided to post some pics.
The tank is an upgrade from a 55G. It was setup mid-December of last year.

I know the light look like they are two different colours... and they are LOL. I have on Hamilton 14K on the left. Got a used bulb and decided to test it out.

The above is my New Geo Reactor... trying to finish getting it dailed in. Getting there slowly.

Picked this guy up at the last meeting.
He is in my Nano Cube that I also picked up at the meeting.

In the tank you can see my baby hippo... he eats like a pig!
The nano looks a little crude... He He I have to finish getting the stand together and redo some of the aquascaping. Right now it is holding my GSP frags.

Now for some setup info...

The tank runs on 2X250W SE halides on Electronic Ballasts
2X54W T5 actinics.

DIY auto-topoff. I can't remember anything else right now LOL. I will post when I do remember.

Tell me what you guys think.

The major tank equipment is controlled by a ReefKeeper2 unit.

I am also in the process of setting up a 30G frag/prop tank that will be plumbed into this tank. The tank will run on the same sump.
I will post some pics of this when I get a chance. I have finished the stand and light. Just need to build the tank.

tank looks great! When you frag those blue and green zoos let me know!
Ditto! Put me in line for a frag too!

I see you have one of those rotating nozzles on your powerhead. (maxijet?)
Is that just an add-on?
What's it called and where can I get one?

Thanks for the completments everyone.

The rotating device is made by HYDOR-FLO. It is on a maxijet.
They are about $11 online. You ca get them from Marinedepot, fostersmith, premiumaquatics.

It does a good job of breaking up the flow out of the SEIO1500.

They are a good investment but need to be cleaned out once in a while to keep optimum performance. They tend to get jammed or stuck when dirty. THey also reduce some of the flow from the PH since they are driven by the output current.

You have the nicest plumbing that I think I've ever seen. I'd love to see more pics of all that PVC you have down there.

Thanks everyone,

The plumbing is really pretty simple. It is about to be redone some what to plumb the new prop tank. I will post some more pics of the plumbing later on when I am home.
It is basically just a split in the drain to go to both ends of the sump. Then then for the return there is a single pipe with a bypass that returns to the skimmer section to "throttle back" the return some.
