Pics of new bimac eating a thawed krill!

Um, I don't know what happened to my first message, but I'll try again.

I just got my baby bimac from FFExpress. He came out of the bag and started exploring the whole tank right away. I tried giving him a couple snails. He grabbed them and examined them carefully, then dropped them. I guess he wanted a hermit crab. So I thawed out some krill, and I took the largest one, maybe an inch and a half, stuck it between the prongs of a really, really dull fondue fork, and held it right in front of him. He hesitated, then took it, and ate most of it! It was bigger than he is! Mind you, this was less than an hour out of the bag! He's awesome! Whole order was great, in fact. Thank you, FFE. This goes a long way towards restoring my confidence.

PS. I'll try to upload the picture again in a moment.

Ok, now I am a little worried. My new octo has done nothing for the last hour but intently study my reef tank on the far side of the dining room. I'm beginning to wonder if he is craving fresh fish!

Don't worry about him watching your other tank, mine does it too.
You might want to block his view in some way or he will sit there watching it all day. Have fun!
