wat camera you using??? what lens?? the first one is out of focus, the second looks good, the third is a little out of focus and too bright. but overall, pretty good.

thanks, for the critic, that is what I am looking for. :) I am using the Fuji S602Z . I just got it a couple days ago so I am still tring to get the hang of everything. It is just the stock lens, but have been thinking about getting the macro lens for it. but overall not many choices.

Looks like a good start.
Some tips: use a tripod if you aren't already, turn your pumps off, clean the glass(inside and out), some post processing wouldn't hurt, keep shooting(the fun part!)

got a new tripod comming in about an hour :D as my old one is kinda flimsy.
but tried the 2 corals again, so hopefully these look a little better.

what do you mean by post processing?

That pic above becomes this with alittle cropping and lighting adjustments.

oh wow, that does make them much much better. thanks

all I have is the adobe imageready CS program will that work to make those? or is there a decent photoshop program that isn't gonna break the bank.

I use Photoshop Elements which usually runs under a hundred bucks. Adobe offers some free ones you can get from their website. With elements, and those on the website, you can adjust alot more things than I did, but with the resolution you posted at and how tired my eyes are, I didn't want to play too much. I take for granted your's came with the camera, but I don't know about what it offers.

I will deff. check out the photoshop elements. the program I have now was a friends that I borrowed. so I never messed with it yet.

thanks for the advice.

The frame comes with elements also. First a drop shadow then a recessed frame. Something else to think about is the resolution you take the pic in. The higher the better, if you can, set it for raw. What software did the camera come with? It should have something to work with the raw pics if it can take them this way.
