Picture ID Please

Hi everyone,

I was looking at my tank tonight with the flashlight and notice what appears to be about 10 to 15 Serpent Starfish Babies? Can you give me your input. This is a rock with an Acro that I got last week.

I have what is called mini brittle stars in my sump/fuge....could maybe be what you are seeing there.

They don't get any bigger from what I understand.

those look like mini brittle starfish to me. they dont get real big. the largest i have seen in my tank spands about the size of a quarter. the are great scavengers and will mulitply in your tank. if their numbers get to great you could bag up a few and give them away to someone local. but as far as i know their numbers go along with the food supply. once their numbers reach more than the tank can provide for they start to starve, and then die off.
