Your own tank, it time

It's just purple coralline algae which is covering the rock. Any tank maintained with excellent, stable parameters will gain this in time.

it looks nice, but I think it takes away from the filtration power of the rocks. There is no way around it, so I live with it. :rollface:

Well happy from homebrew I started takin some shots. Keep in mind I only have a few corals (UNFORTUNATLY) as I planned on upgrading the lights. Well its now upgraded and TIME TO FILL THIS TANK UP!!! Just a few from tonight of rics and fish, and def. NOT the best pics lol. Oh and YES that midas is HUGE. lol. Hakko named him Big Earnie. Poo'Tang in the pics as well. Yea, thats what happens when you let the man name fish!

Isnt this a flower urchin??? Never seen them but have heard of them, pretty scary stuff ya got there lol. What kind of toxins do they use?
