Actually it's not the camera but the lens. Virtually every D-SLR can take good pics. But spending the money on the true quality lenses is what makes the difference. That dedicated macro lens cost damn near as much as the camera. But it has been worth every penny.

cracking hermit legs is very tedious and it takes about 10,000 of them to make a decent meal IME. :lol:
