Pictures - 800 gallon reef - 7+ years in operation

Wow, im glad this thread got brought back up. I am speachless. I spent 2 hours of my afternoon reading every word and looking at the pictures up to page 13. Tommorow I will read the rest. lol

The thing I love most about the entire set-up. Its simple. Nothing really "fancy" so to say, its all simple. And it works. Back in the previous pages, he said he only does a 50g water change once a month. He also doesnt feed the tank with a bunch of different foods and all of that...just flake food. I have read on lots of threads on here that you need this and that to make it do-able in order for the tank to stay "alive". This tank simply proves it wrong.

again
I am speachless.

Quite disappointed that hcrk seems to have disappeared. Really would like to see what the tank looks like after 1 1/2 years.

I second that opinion. This tank has been a wonderful inspiration to me. Would love to see what has been going on lately

Have you collected any of your tanks inhabitants?
I'm just curious if you get most things from trading or from purchases.
Do you isolate your new additions before introducing them to you main tanks? If so, where, for how long etc
Thank you for your posts, most of us don't have experience with tanks/systems as large as your.

Could'nt sleep stumbled across this thread.................Very Awesome tank(s) indeed. Thank-You for all the pics/posts.

It's interesting how this thread has managed to survive even though it's been like two or three months since the last post from HRCK. I think it's obviously because of the beauty and dimensions of this piece of reef in HRCK's house.

HRCK if you are still out there, please show signs of life.

Cheers
