got a question for ya.. on your purple cats paw, where do you have it in your tank? I'm having problems finding a good spot for mine, that makes it happy. also what lights do you run?

3-400W 10k reeflux bulbs and 4-60" VHO's all actinic

check out the picture below, I would estimate its 16" or so below a 400w MH.

Nice tank. Looks like you might of hit the contrast tand unsharp mask a bit too much in the FTS. Other corals look very nice though. It looks like on some of the shots, the red hue is very saturated. Might want to take a look at the camera or settings. The bulbs you have shouldn't be pushing that much.

That tank is packed though That does not look like a 55 gallon. I thought it was a 120.

I didn't take the full tank shot, my friend did with his nikon and he said he shot multiple exposures and used a program to combine them. When I got the final image, it was bright so I darkened the picture.

He sent me this version this morning, a little better but still not 100% correct lol...now it looks too dark and not clear enough

Through the glass, I have an acylic box to take top down shots but I can't get any decent shots without glare. one day I will get some of those to work out.
