FANTASTIC documentation Todd!!!

Love the fathead too!

Thanks a lot.

I love the fathead too, though it took him about a month to stay out in the open.

Both fish are gorgeous! And thanks for the updates.... so cool how drastically they change!

Thanks to both of you. The main reason I got him as a juvi was to be able to witness the change.

Have you had any problems with him picking at your corals?

SPS and my clam haven't been touched. But, zoas will last about 3 minutes. ;) He loves them. And if my Haddoni wasn't hosting a pair of clarkiis he would go after that too. I had my blue Haddoni in there for a while (( the Clarkiis are hosted by my tan one )), and he started to pick at that one.

Been a while since I have posted in this thread, so figured that some new pictures were in order.

He has been doing pretty good, eating well and staying out of trouble.

Looking at me and wondering why I have taken 100 pictures. ;)

Still wondering, while the purple tang doesn't care.

Hanging out with the purple again and one of my Haddonis.

absolutely stunning! I've always loved how the blue trim just POPS! Neat photo diary of the changes!

Hey Todd,

I've followed this thread since you first posted. Very interesting and informative to see the transformation! My question is, how big would you say the Blueface is? It is hard to get a good perspective from the pictures. Also, what is your feeding regimen?

Thanks.

I would say it is about 4.5 - 5 inches long -- total length. I feed about twice a day (( sometimes 3 times a day during the weekends )). Feed a mix; Rod's Food (( red, green and blue label )) LifeLine's herbivore mix, Prime Reef, Angel formula, and Spectrum Pellets. I use the pellets as a b/t meal snack. If I am near that tank (( it is upstairs )) I will drop in a pinch or two.

Wow thats a beautiful fish you got there!

Thanks, I think so too. Even though it ticks me off since it loves to eat Zoas, and isn't out as much as I would like. Thinking of redoing the rock work -- hopefully it will be out more after that.

very awesome I can not wait for mine to look that way!! about half way through, hope you dont mind me posting a pic too...

Actually more changed now this was a month ago..

WOW beautiful fish tod. At the LFS I worked at we got in a +12in Blueface Angelfish, it was BEAUTIFUL!

Thanks. Dang, 12 inches is huge. I better start saving for a bigger place, and then save up for a bigger tank. :)

Why were the last 3 pics deleted? I wanted to see him now! darn photobucket gremlins!

Matthew

Odd, I can still see them, and I know that I didn't delete any of my pictures. Hopefully just a hic-up.

Hey todd. Your blueface is in a 75 gallon? Does it mess with your carpet anenomes at all? I have the same set up with a blueface and B/W clown pair. I was thinking about getting them a home to host.

Gorgeous fish.

Hi, hows your blue face angel now? I like your pictures of your changing fish. I have a juvenile that I bought about 6 months ago. It is about 4 inches and hasn't started to change yet

Thanks.

Haven't thought about that fish in years.

Sold it to a local reefer with a bigger tank about 3 years ago (( give or take )).
