I am no expert on PH. I use MJ a lot. When I fist got into reef, I had a few Rio because the LFS I used recommended them. One of the Rio toasted my tank. What make this so bad for me is that I knew this is a potential problem, but stupid me decided that I want to save some money and use the Rio that I have until I need to replace it. I think the next to last one was the one that toasted my tank.
