what are the names of the pink/purple zoas on the left? I have some but don't know what thry're called.

In real life they are more orange and black.
They are bam bam oranges.

oh, okay. i have bam bams as well and when i looked at your pic more closely, i thougjht that was what they were.

If I could figure out how to take good pics of my zoas, I would post for ID's.

thanx

Got this guy recently, cheap. :) A buddy of mine bought him and had his butt kicked by a Hawk Fish as soon as he entered the tank. After one night, he was almost dead. He has been recovering nicely but still has some fin damage near the tail. He cruises the tank and looks for bad things to eat all day long.

Beautiful colors. Is it a wrasse? How big and what type if you know.
I am still deciding on what species to put in prop tank.

Decisions, decisions:confused:

Thanks, its a Mystery Wrasse. They have been known to eat Shrimp so keep that in mind. They are in the same family as the 6-Line Wrasse.

Thanks! It's a dragon face pipe!

Fitting name! The first thing I thought of when I saw that first picture was a dragon prowling its domain...

How rare are those things, and what special needs do they have?

Edit: Looked it up...sounds like a fish that would do well as the only fish in a tank. If I were to set up a 30br reef with assorted corals and a Dragonface Pipefish, do you think it'd do well?

See, now I'm jealous. Hmmm...Christmas is coming up.

Do these guys acclimate and ship well? For that price, you know. I was paranoid when acclimating my Coral Beauty and he was only 25.00. Three hr drip.

I'm still dreaming...he's on my wish list.

I got one and it jumped that night and my Ferret got it be for I new it jumped I was sick with the new tank they cant jump they will just hit the back and back in they go

OMG! Sushi for the ferret.
I would have been sick too.
I have glass tops, so no worries there. Do they still want to jump out if you are messing around with frags with the top off? If so, then that is a problem.
