I'm tired of messing with my Milwaukee CO2 regulator and want to get a new one. I can't get any bubbles from the one I've got - and I don't know why. The needle valve is probably corroded or blocked. I've soaked it in alcohol before and that seemed to help but I'm tired of messing with the think.
I'm looking at the Reef fanatic regulator. Anyone had good experience with this model?
Also, do I need a check valve? I've had so many problems with my DIY reactor and ended up flooding the bubble counter with saltwater (probably the cause of the corrosion). Will a check valve keep saltwater from flowing back into the bubble counter?
