PIII upgrade question

I just joined the Profilux family by purchasing a used PII plus and was just wondering if i will still be included for the discount on upgrading to the PIII when it is introduced

I do have another quick question real quick! I haven't read all the way through the manual yet but i am wondering about connecting to my laptop as far as i know it is not equipped with usb standard correct? how can i connect the RS232 port to my laptop? I don't have a similar port on my laptop is there a adapter?

Hi

You have 4 options

1: RS232 to USB adapter
2: PLM-USB onboard expansion card
3: PLM-LAN, this will expand the controller for internet access amongst other things
4: PLM-WLAN - As above but the flexibility of being wireless

If it was me I would be going for LAN or even Wireless LAN
