pimpers on my zoa

got a zoa frags fr a local reefer 4 days ago.
found it didnt open today, and realise thats pimpers kind of stuff growing on my zoa.
took out and dip in fresh water for a while and accidently press it, a white stuff comes out when it purst juz like human's pimpers.
any 1 kno wat r they?

currently quarantine it.

Furan 2 seems to be the best treatment... Or at least it has had the most success... And lots of water changes!!!

I just noticed my zoa dominated tank is laden with pox, many of my polyps are suffereing.

I think im just going to ride it out, change water and pray... I am a firm beliver of seasons/moon cycles affecting the coral in our tanks, i think it would be interesting to see how many others are starting to experience this right about now. If nothing killed zoos off in the wild, the ocean floor would be a mat of zoos with the way they can grow so quickly. I realize there are fish and other natural predators but its just a thought.

I just went through this and the furan-2 treatment really worked.

Furan2... used it a bunch of times and also recommended it a bunch of times and has worked 99% of the time unless its caught too late and polyps have been infected for a long time already.
