Just ordered a Pin Tail Wrasse ( CIrrhilabrus cf lanceolatus) from nya and I am a happy camper :)

I was org looking for a female Rhomboid for my male but I could not pass this up.

Mines in my acclimation box now. Becoming more and more adjusted and my other wrasses seem to be doing the same. I'll keep her in there fore another few weeks.

She will go into qt with prazi treatment then acclimation box in dt. I normally do 2-3 days in a acclimation box with a pvc tube. You do weeks?

What other wrasse do you have? I put my female pintail in with a slightly larger female jordani and there was no aggression, though to be fair the established jordani was still pretty new to the system.

I only have the rhomboid terminal male. I only use the acclimated box depending on fish and what's in my tank.

Though my understanding is most fairy and flashers turn male unless controlled by another male.

Same here. 4 total weeks of QT including 2 Prazipro treatments, then into the acclimation box. I recently introduced a female C. jordani and sub-male C. lineatus into my 125. They only needed 24 hours in the box until the other wrasses were not showing any interest at all. Existing are terminal males of the following: C. bathyphilus, C. laboutei, C. lubbocki, & P. attenuatus. P. attenuatus was the only one who displayed any signs of dominance during acclimation and then once released. Nothing serious at all though.

Next up is my C. cf lanceolatus, currently in week 2 of QT.
