Pinched mantle?

I have a deresa that I have had for some time now. One side his mantle extends fully but on the other it is no longer extending fully, just barely past the shell. Can pinched mantle effect only one side? My squamosa looks great.

as well as corals in close proximity..

what is that Ca reading??? clams need~ 420 ppm??? and what is your ALK??

Calcium is 425 and alk is around 10. Fish- blond naso, yellow tang, sailfin tang, hippo, green chromis, pair of perculas, fuzzy dwarf lion and a six line wrasse. Inverts cleaner shrimp, fire shrimp and snails. Nothing new in last 4-5 months. Only thing different is a powerhead added. Wierd thing is only one side doesnt extend much past shell. The other side looks great.

from the description it doesn't sound like PM, more like the mantle being irritated due to proximity to a stinging coral or invert.

if you can post a pic, we may be able to tell you what is going on.
