Pinched Mantle?

Hi does this clam's mantle look pinched to you? I'm worried about those small patches close to the edges which were not there before and it's not opening as wide as it used to:

Have following fish:

Maroon clown pair
Coral beauty (watched it and it nips on the shell sometimes but not at the clam)
Hyppo tang x2
bangai cardinal
yellow cories wrass
Anthia

params:

Temp 80
Sal 1.025
Ph 8.2
Alk 9.5
Ca 380 (had dropped to 330 and bringing it up to 430)
MG 1180 (going back up to 1350)
nitrates 25 (climbed a bit after moving the tank and probably disturbing the sand bed ) will work on getting them lower via WC or Vodka dosing and hopefully my DSB and refugium will hold them down when established.
lights are 6-10 months old
1 250 MH 22k Gieseman
2 150 MH 14 K Arcadia
2 54 W T5 Actinic Arcadia
1 115 W T5 14 K
Tank is a 150
had 4 clams one of them died couple of weeks post additiona nd wasn't doing really well and was being picked at by 2 twin spot wrasses which are noe out
1 maxima definitely killed by those wrasses after 3-4 months
1 squamosa that died post tank move as I moved it a bithigher from sand bed and it fell and damaged it's attachement to the flat rock it was on.
this is hte one that remains and also I had lifted it up from the sand bed and it doesn't look as happy as it was.
on two occasions my maroon female charged on it and pushed it and made it fall, still it didn't lose grip fromt he rock it was on but could it have been damaged. after that the clown accepted having it "close"to her anemone 5-6 inches far.
Thanks for any info on things to further check for as a newly added maxima is not opening as well as it was at the LFS

I see bite marks on the mantle of the clam.

Your Coral Beauty may not nip the mantle when you are watching but what about when you aren't watching. They know the difference.

Cut a plastic pop bottle in half, fill it full of 1/4" holes for circulation and then place it over the clam. I bet you will see a difference in a day or two.

Sorry about your unfortunate losses. Obviously your fish do not agree with the clams and have made that deadly clear. Agree with Maximus Clammus in protecting last clam from Coral Beauty. Some fish are clever and will play the "I'm not really picking on him" game, until you are not looking :strooper:. Moving either out might be the required long term solution.

Just an update.
watched the coral beauty angel for some time and it did nip at the shell of the clam which is OK I guess as I assume it was picking at alga there. however I saw my maroonclown charging repeatedly at the clam biting it and pushing it down. it went on and on non stop each time I went away from teh front glass. turned out that one of my anemones which had lost some color and lots of volue had crawled till under the clam and te clown wanted to get to it. unfortuntaely it did detach the clam from it's rock and now that i have removed the anemone to another location everything is fine except for the clam who still has to attach again to the rocks. do you think it can atach after being separated from its rock? it still opens fine
