Pink birdsnest problem

I'm new to the forum but have been into reefing for 10 years +. I have a big pink birdsnest in the center of my 125 and it seems to keep getting worse. I think it's slowly dying. It always has a bunch of hermit crabs on it picking away at it. I have other sps and even other birdsnest corals that are doing great. I'm running AI hydra 26 led's and dosing 2 part,
Salinity 1.025
Ph 8.4
Mag 1300
Ca 450
KH 9.6
Should I frag off the pieces that are still good???
Thanks

What are your nutrient levels? I've had bad luck with birdsnests running a high kH, especially if your tank is too clean.

I'm running a refugium and I run gfo about 2 weeks a month. My LFS told me it might be to clean too. My phosphates are undectable on my Elos test kit. I have another birdsnest that looks awesome and it's the same height and about 8 inches away.

If it is getting worst, as you posted, then I will do that. Save all the good branches and place some in different places of the tank, just in case, if you have space in the tank to do that.

Thanks everyone! I will try that tomorrow and see how it goes. It's to bad because it is the size of a softball now
