I was at a LFS and they have a beautiful reef tank setup with T5s. After getting a better look at them, I noticed that one of these bulbs were very pink. The person I talked to did not really know about this pink light, nor did most the other employees. So I did a little looking around on the web, and I kept coming across freshwater posts about it. How it helps with photosynthesis in plants, but nothing about what the purpose of a pink light for a reef.
Would anyone here know more about the pink light?
