Pink Margin Fairy Wrasse differences

I am considering getting a Pink Margin Fairy Wrasse. When I search this fish on liveaquaria, it gives me 3 options of origin........Fiji, Vanuatu, and Indonesia. When I google those three origins, the images of the fish are identical (that I can see)

Can anyone tell me, or post a picture of the visual difference between the three?

Melanesian (Fiji/Vanuatu/Tonga) variants tend to be more colorful in general and TP males tend to have a neon pink area in the rear dorsal area. Collection practices in those areas tend to be more sustainable as well. Below is a good article with lots of visual examples:

Certainly. They are great fish - very underrated. I have a Tonga variant myself.

do they need a sandy substrate to bury themselves in? (I'm asking for QT purposes so I know if I should add a bowl of sand)

Love pink margin fairy wrasses! One of my favorites.

Being a fairy wrasse, they will sleep in a cozy place in the rocks and spin a mucous cocoon at night. Pretty cool to them when the lights go off. They are not one of the wrasses that sleep in the sand bed.
