is it normal for a elegance coral to close completely at night to the point where you can't barely see the fleshy part, just got one about a 2 weeks ago and I don't know if this is normal!

my one does the same, gark.....i have had it over a year now and it is still healthy...not sure if this is normal behaviour for elegance's, but it does not seem to do them any harm...well it definetely has'nt to mine anyway.......
It's normal for elegance to close up at night. They like their beauty sleep. LOL They shouldn't close up to the extent you describe though. I'd check for PH drop at night, and alkalinity. You don't change your flow at night do you?
The ph in my tank is 8.4 and it drops to 8.3 at night, for flow I have a mp40 that goes to sleep mode right around 7pm so flow changes at night but just a little bit as for dkh im using 2 part solution eveyday so it stays the same my ca is 440ppm!
