pinktail trigger

i cant find the thread i started about the faded white spots on my trigger.some of you had the same problem and we couldnt find the answer for what it was.

i went to the LFS were i got my pinktail and he said the spots are known as "modeling". they said is is caused from high PO4 and or low oxegen.it will go away in time and from what he knows its not deadly to these fish.

i hope this helps those of you wondering what the heck the blotches are:twitch:

I have heard of this too and was told that they are called "Stress spots".

Here is a picture of a juvenile angelfish with them that I found out on the net.

My Powder Blue Tang had this. It was not crypto (ich) as this came on the first day I had him and went away very fast (within hours). there were no raised spots like with ich. This is more like a miscoloring of the skin, but not a bacterial infection.
