pinpoint ph monitor/ overflow siphon

hey everyone. we got a pinpoint ph monitor today and i think we need some calibration fluid or something

does anyone help one, or have a kind of "diy" calibration method?

also, we got a sump and i need to have someone tell me how to get the siphon started with a HOB overflow. i kind of missed that part (we bought a bunch of stuff used and he was showing/telling us but i kind of missed some of it)

I probably can dig up some packets depending on how long you want to wait, otherwise I think they're only $1/each on F&S.

just curious because of the going to uni, i dont know how long of a drive that is.

i can wait for awhile, no biggie.. id just rather not order something till i need more stuff/....have money.

to get the syphon going you just need a short chunk of airline stick it in the u tube all the way at the top put the tube back in the overflow and suck the air out. It will make kinda a toilet flush sound and start working. You'll also have to have water in the compartments on both sides of the u tube before you start also.
