Pipes in a reef tank?

Could I keep pipefish in my 135 gallon reef tank I'm setting up? I have seen alot of other people do it before, such as David Saxby's reef tank, and quite often the tank of the month has pipes as well. So, is it possible?

It is possible depending on your tank setup and the other corals, inverts, and tankmates you plan to keep.

I have had a pipe in my reef tank for about nine months. He comes out late evening and stays through mid morning and then goes back to hiding. He is the healthiest looking fish in there. I highly recommend them for a reef.
