Pisces' addiction

Next time I come to rochester ill def want to hook up with you and check your place out! Amazing tank and some corals that want to come home with me!

Anytime man, all hobbyists are welcome to chill and geek out about reefs a bit. Just PM me when you come to town.

Well, I can honestly say this has been the best day in a very long time. After 3 months of not hearing a word, I received a check in the mail from Marineland. A full compensation for all losses related to the exploding heater and following system crash.

OMG so many possibilities now...

Thanks a ton to Steven @ the OC and Tom @ TRS for their help in persuing the matter.

I've been watching your builds since the beginning on here.
Your tanks have always looked awesome.

However, the current stack and mounts are looking better than ever man!

If you can, let me know how things go with the Anthias.

I'm considering some for the new tank once I have it set up for a while.
Some are good alone I've seen from other people if kept happily fed.
But the success rate varies on tank style, habits, individuals, tankmates, and the specific Anthias species. I'd be interested on how yours comes along as time goes by.
I'd like to keep a small group of them eventually. One male and a few females.
I'm going to look or order from one of my suppliers, one or two of the easier to manage species.
Although, none are easy. Randy at ARC has some nice Bartletts.

I've never had to deal with Marineland before.

However, I will say that I can't say enough nice things about Tom at TRS.
He's given me plenty of freebie frags during my purchasing stops in there. The dude is awesome.

As well as (Jedi) Stephen is a great guy too.

More random pics. Sorry, I get bored when I've done my maintenance and there's nothing to frag.

Your whole build, death, build thread has been gripping to say the least, your photos are awesome..Soo glad to see things are going well for you again, you are a natural in this hobby..

Looking great!! are you cropping those pictures at all?

Yeah man, I use photoshop to crop and sometimes autotone, auto contrast, autocolor depending on how the white balance behaved on the camera that day.

DB6 - Anthias isn't well, it developed scale lesions shortly after I bought it. I soak the food in vitamin c and garlic so I'm hoping it will pull through. It's still swimming and eating normally.

DAMN that GSP grew a lot in the bonsai tank! down the road if this tank doesnt win NTOTM i dont know what will
